[Okay ... not what he was expecting! Not bad, but he'd expected to either get left on read or just told there wasn't anything to talk about.
So this is not that. Okay. Good? Yes. Good. This is what they should do.]
Got it, on my way.
[It turns out that there's only so many energy drinks and snacks he can rustle up - he is still technically living in the Down. Kyle told him to take whatever he wanted from the house, but he figures SWIPING ALL THEIR SNACKS is probably pushing it. But he gets a respectable amount and portals his way into Tommy's, dropping the bag of drinks and junk food onto the table and looking around for signs of David, calling out Tommy's name.]
[ At the sound of Billy's arrival, Tommy perks up from his position lying flat on his bed, dicking around on his device. He rolls off the bed and sulks his way to peek his head around the door.
Look at him, Billy. Walking, at normal human speeds, over to the bag of energy drinks. ]
Hey.
[ He tucks himself into the corner of the couch, popping open a can and waiting expectantly. ]
I'm pretty much a captive audience right now, so whatever you want to talk about, you've got me.
[Billy had fully planned to just burst in and start talking, more or less. But he's brought up short by the sight of Tommy walking. Just ... normal walking. Slowly.]
Why are you slow? Did the guards whammy you? Are you okay?
[Billy looks nonplussed, upset on Tommy's behalf. He has an idea how hard it must be for Tommy to cope without his speed.] I'm sorry.
[He'd come here for a reason though, and it's still a good reason, talking this out, clearing the air. Billy drops down to perch on the coffee table, arms crossing in front of him.]
So. We kind of had sex and now it's weird. But it's not our fault, so I think we should just say that and then ... move on.
[ Tommy just shrugs, because the only person he's allowing to bring the pity party is himself.
When Billy talks, he listens as he sips his energy drink, which is a weirdness all it's own. He listens, and he thinks. Slower than normal, foggier than normal, but he just doesn't feel the need to run from this conversation. No, this is probably a good thing to get out of the way. ]
I mean, it's pretty weird, and we definitely shouldn't tell people, but I'm not sure it's actually end-of-the-world weird, since we're not really related, and we weren't raised together.
[ He says, weirdly calm about it, even though they look exactly the damn same and both regularly call Wanda mom. ]
